Information we collect
None that identifies you. ExamTrek does not require an account, name, email, or login to work.
On-device data only. To make the app useful, ExamTrek saves your study data locally on your device using your browser/app storage. This includes:
- which questions you have answered, your answers, and correct/incorrect results;
- flags/bookmarks and spaced-repetition scheduling;
- session history and settings (theme, timer preference, and similar).
This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and it is not transmitted to us or anyone else.
Network connections
ExamTrek is designed to run fully offline. The app may make limited network requests only to:
- Load web fonts. Depending on the build, fonts may be requested from a third-party font host (Google Fonts), which, like any web request, can receive standard technical data such as your IP address and user-agent. No study data or personal identifiers are sent.
- Check for app or content updates, if you install a hosted or store version that updates over the web.
ExamTrek does not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting services, or social-media trackers.
How your data is stored and deleted
Your study data is stored only in your device's local app storage. You can delete it at any time by:
- using Settings → Reset all progress (or Reset “seen” history) inside the app; or
- uninstalling the app, or clearing the site data in your browser.
Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Children's privacy
ExamTrek is intended for a general audience preparing for a professional IT certification and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. As described above, the app is built not to collect personal information from anyone.
Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar)
Because ExamTrek does not collect, process, or share personal data on our servers, we do not hold personal data about you to access, correct, delete, or port. If you have questions about your rights or a privacy concern, contact us and we will respond.
Data security
Study data remains on your device under your device's own security controls. Keeping your device updated and secured protects that information.
About our content
Practice questions, answers, and explanations in ExamTrek are original study material that is AI-generated and human-reviewed. They are not real exam questions. This note is provided for transparency and does not affect the privacy practices described above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves (for example, if a future version adds accounts or sync). We will change the “Effective date” above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
